ROBOTICS TODAY

About & sources

A clear view of the latest robotics news.

Direct from the source.

Robotics Today brings together headlines from established publications and research organizations. Each story links to the original publisher, where you can read the complete article.

We check publisher feeds every 15 minutes. Each article's clearly labeled Published date is its original publication time, shown in US Eastern time. The feed refresh time is displayed separately.

Story images come from publisher feed entries or article image metadata, with the available photo credit shown on each image. Images load from their original publisher or image host. If a publisher does not supply a usable image, the story remains available.

Topics are assigned automatically and may occasionally be imperfect. This site is an independent news aggregator and is not affiliated with the publications listed below.

Ownership & contact

Robotics Today is owned and published by Herman Goldstein.

Editorial responsibility

From demonstration to deployment.

We ask whether a report describes a demonstration, pilot or production deployment, and what the robot can actually do. We examine reliability, operating conditions, human support, cost and limitations when the reporting supports them. A promotional video alone does not establish production readiness.

Robotics Today publishes the Morning Briefing under its publication byline. Briefings use automated collection and AI-generated drafts based on linked sources. Summaries describe linked reporting; Our take provides analysis based on that evidence. We do not claim firsthand reporting or personal expertise that has not been established.

Corrections should identify the page, publication date and disputed statement, with a supporting source. When a published briefing needs a substantive correction, the correction and its date should be visible to readers. Sponsorship or paid placement, if introduced, must be clearly labeled.

What is the morning briefing?

Each publication has its own dated morning briefing, with a short selection of developments and original editorial context. Briefings draw on publisher summaries and linked reporting. The reported development and Our take are separate: the latter is interpretation, not a claim of firsthand reporting or a personal opinion attributed to the owner. Source publication dates and the briefing publication time are shown separately. Read the linked reporting for the full context.
